Financial Company Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Francis J. Vassallo and Associates Limited recently celebrated the company’s 10th anniversary yesterday week with a gala dinner, under the patronage of Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and his wife Kate, in Bighi.
Among the distinguished guests were the chairman of the Malta Financial Services Authority Joe Bannister, Central Bank governor Michael Bonello, top officials of the MFSA as well as partners in top international tax law firms and clients from various countries as far afield as Argentina, Australia and China.
Mr. Vassallo, a former governor of the Central Bank and earlier vice-president of Chase Manhattan Bank, thanked all those who had supported the firm over the past decade, including its local and foreign clients and associates, for the confidence they had shown in the company. He also affirmed his confidence in the future of Malta as a financial centre of excellence, especially now that Malta was in the eurozone.
